Summary

This game encourages the participants to think outside the box by stimulating a creative take on random everyday objects. Every player chooses an item from their surrounding and thinks of as many further uses apart from its main purpose as possible. For example, a bucket could be a hand drum, a flower pot or even a helmet that conserves your hairstyle while wearing it. In the end, each member of the team presents their object and its features as if it was their own invention they are pitching to an audience.

Step-by-step
  1. Every participant chooses one object in the room and starts thinking of additional uses. Write down every idea regardless of how silly and unusual it may seem.

  2. Each participant presents his or her item and its different uses to the rest of the team. Try to act as if your ideas are the object's main use and you are pitching your own invention to an audience.
